ASAP is partnering with Des Moines Public Libraries to provide an art activity for youth stuck at home this summer. ASAP Teaching Artist Jill Wells is the featured instructor in a 10-minute painting lesson that is available to Library patrons via their facebook page. ASAP prepared 180 supply kits for the lesson, distributing 30 to each of the dix Des Moines branches. This program delivery model is considered a pilot effort for the full range of programs ASAP will offer through its partner schools this fall.
