ASAP is encouraging children to imagine life beyond COVID-19 by attending the 12th Annual Summer Arts Camp in Evelyn K. Davis Park this week. The camp is themed Into the Future, and features hands-on studios in Painting, Music, Creative Movement/Dance, Sculpture, and Yoga. Students may choose up to three studios per day. The camp is free of charge and appropriate for all ages. ASAP is grateful for its longstanding partnership with Des Moines Parks and Recreation, for Teaching Artists willing to teach wearing masks, and for dozens of volunteers who work side-by-side with the kids, helping them enjoy this annual week of exciting activity and fun.
