For the past two years, ASAP’s Executive Director Michelle Bolton King has participated on Des Moines Public Schools’ Community Partners Equity Team, supporting the district’s work to identify causes and possible solutions for some of important issues revealed by student data. Three input teams were established in 2017, comprising families, students, and community partners.
