ASAP is delighted to welcome Jacqueline Poole as the new Program Coordinator, replacing DeAnna MacDonald.
In her new role, Poole coordinates all aspects of program delivery at ASAP’s twenty program sites in 2017–18.
Poole is a graduate of Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa, with a degree in Fine Arts, and has a strong background in arts administration and education. She specializes in drawing and painting, and has taught all ages of students, from preschool to high school. She brings several years of experience in program and event management to ASAP, as well. She has been involved in numerous volunteer groups around the Des Moines area, including the Des Moines Art Center’s Art Noir, the Des Moines Social Club, and the Young Professionals Connection’s Charity and Impact Downtown committees. Poole enjoys seeing students’ well being flourish through arts education and finds her role as ASAP Program Coordinator a uniquely good fit for her experience, skills, and passion.
